Welcome to ARITHMOS ("the App", "the Game", "our Service"), a competitive educational math game featuring real-time multiplayer battles and single-player challenges, developed and operated by Fikazon Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.
ARITHMOS is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your data. By accessing or using ARITHMOS, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Game Data: Scores, match results, rankings, performance statistics, achievements, streaks, and progression data.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, screen resolution, and unique device or advertising identifiers.
- Usage Data: Session duration, features accessed, in-app actions, and interaction patterns.
- Network Information: IP address, approximate geolocation (country/region level), and connection type.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Social Login: If you sign in via Google, we receive limited public profile information such as your name and email address, and optionally a profile image provided by the authentication provider.
- Analytics Services: We use Firebase Analytics and similar tools to understand app usage patterns in aggregate form.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your ARITHMOS account and player profile.
- To facilitate real-time multiplayer matchmaking, leaderboards, and competitions.
- To track your learning progress, performance analytics, and achievement history.
- To personalize your in-game experience, including difficulty adjustments and content recommendations.
- To display advertising that allows us to keep the App free (subject to the limits described in Section 6).
- To send push notifications about match invitations, rewards, and important updates (with your consent).
- To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To improve, maintain, and optimize the App's performance and features.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Third-Party Services
ARITHMOS integrates with the following categories of third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, real-time database, cloud messaging (push notifications), and analytics.
- Google Sign-In: Optional social login used to authenticate your account.
- Google AdMob: Advertising services used to display ads within the App (see Section 6).

6. Advertising
ARITHMOS is free to use and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. Advertising may involve the collection of limited device information (such as device or advertising identifiers) to serve and measure ads.
Because ARITHMOS is suitable for and used by children, we apply the following protections:
- For users we identify or treat as children, we serve only non-personalized (contextual) ads. We do not use children's information for ad personalization, interest-based profiling, or remarketing.
- Advertising content shown in the App is restricted to age-appropriate content ratings, and we use ad partners certified for child- and family-directed content.
- For adult users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — where personalized advertising requires consent — we present a consent message and serve personalized ads only where consent is given; otherwise, non-personalized ads are shown.
You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization at any time through your device settings. We do not permit advertising partners to collect personal information directly from children for behavioral profiling.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:
- Account Data: Retained for the lifetime of your account, plus 90 days after account deletion to allow for recovery requests.
- Game Performance Data: Retained for the lifetime of your account to maintain your progress, statistics, and leaderboard positions.
- Communication Logs: Retained for up to 12 months for support quality and safety purposes.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for product-improvement purposes.
ARITHMOS does not process in-app purchases and therefore does not retain payment or transaction records. After account deletion is processed, your personal data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before full purge.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS/TLS protocols.
- Secure authentication systems with hashed credentials.
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
- Regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring.
- Firebase Security Rules to enforce data access permissions at the database level.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to promptly addressing any breach in accordance with applicable laws.
9. Children's Privacy
ARITHMOS is an educational math game intended for students and is suitable for a general audience, including children. We are committed to protecting children's privacy and comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and, where applicable, the Google Play Families requirements and the principles of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We collect only the information reasonably necessary for gameplay and minimize data collection from children.
- We do not serve personalized or interest-based advertising to children. Children are shown only non-personalized, age-appropriate ads (see Section 6).
- We do not condition a child's participation in any activity on disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary.
- ARITHMOS does not provide open, free-text chat between users. Any in-game communication is limited to preselected, moderated messages to protect younger players.
- Parents or guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at support@arithmosarena.com.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner inconsistent with this policy or applicable law, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate authorization.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fikazon Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data, any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials, or any acts or omissions of third-party service providers. Because ARITHMOS is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability in connection with this Privacy Policy is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App, via email, or by posting a prominent notice. Your continued use of ARITHMOS after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
15. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
