At Fikazon Technologies Ltd, we respect your right to control your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of your account and personal information from ARITHMOS, and how we process such requests.
To protect users from unauthorized or fraudulent deletion attempts, ARITHMOS does not offer automatic or self-service account deletion within the App. All deletion requests are handled manually by our team through a verified process.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your ARITHMOS account and associated personal data, you must send an email to our data management team. This manual process ensures that only verified account owners can initiate data deletion, protecting you from unauthorized requests.

- Full Name — The name registered on your ARITHMOS account.
- Registered Email Address — The email address associated with your account.
- Username — Your in-game username/display name (if applicable).
- Reason for Deletion — A brief explanation of why you are requesting data deletion (e.g., no longer using the service, privacy concerns, etc.).

2. Deletion Process
Once we receive your deletion request, the following process will be followed:

1Acknowledgment (1–2 business days): We will acknowledge receipt of your request and confirm that it is being reviewed.

2Identity Verification (2–5 business days): Our team will verify that the request is legitimate and that you are the authorized owner of the account. We may contact you for additional verification if the provided information does not match our records.

3Confirmation Email: Before proceeding with deletion, we will send a confirmation email to your registered email address. You must confirm your intent to delete. This is a final safeguard to ensure the request was not made in error or by an unauthorized party.

4Data Deletion (7–14 business days after verification): Once verified and confirmed, we will permanently delete your personal data from our active systems. You will receive a final notification when deletion is complete.

5Backup Purge (up to 90 days): Residual data in encrypted backups will be purged during the next scheduled backup rotation cycle, within 90 days of deletion from active systems.
3. What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon successful completion of the deletion process, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account registration information (name, email, username, avatar).
- Player profile and preferences.
- Game performance data, scores, rankings, and achievement history.
- In-app messaging history.
- Social login tokens and connections.
- Push notification subscriptions and device tokens.
- Referral and invitation history.
4. What Data May Be Retained
Certain categories of data may be retained after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction Records: Records of in-app purchases and payment transactions will be retained for a minimum of 6 years as required by Nigerian tax and financial regulations.
- Fraud and Abuse Records: If your account was flagged or involved in violations, related records may be retained to prevent future abuse and protect other users.
- Aggregated/Anonymized Data: Data that has been fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytics and product improvement purposes.
- Legal Obligations: Any data that we are legally required to retain by court order, regulatory mandate, or applicable law.
5. Fraud and Impersonation Protection
⚠ Important: If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that a deletion request is fraudulent, made by an unauthorized party, involves impersonation, or is intended to obstruct a legal investigation, we reserve the right to decline or delay the deletion request until the matter is resolved.
In such cases, we will:
- Notify the registered account holder of the suspicious request.
- Require additional identity verification (e.g., government-issued identification, account-specific security questions).
- Temporarily suspend the account to prevent further unauthorized access.
- Cooperate with law enforcement if criminal activity is suspected.
This policy exists to protect our users. We will never refuse a legitimate, verified deletion request.
6. Consequences of Data Deletion
Before submitting a deletion request, please be aware of the following irreversible consequences:
- Account Access: You will permanently lose access to your ARITHMOS account.
- Game Progress: All scores, rankings, achievements, streaks, and performance history will be permanently erased.
- Virtual Items: All Coins, power-ups, and other Virtual Items will be forfeited with no refund or compensation.
- Leaderboard Positions: Your name and scores will be removed from all leaderboards.
- Social Connections: All in-game friends, challenge history, and social data will be deleted.
- No Recovery: Once deletion is complete, the data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use ARITHMOS again, you will need to create a new account from scratch.
7. Data Retention Summary
Active Account Data: Retained for the lifetime of your account.
Post-Deletion (Active Systems): Removed within 7–14 business days after verified confirmation.
Post-Deletion (Backups): Purged within 90 days.
Transaction Records: Retained for 6 years (legal requirement).
Anonymized Analytics: Retained indefinitely (non-identifiable).
8. Data Security
All deletion requests and associated communications are handled securely. We employ the following measures to protect your data throughout the deletion process:
- All email communications are processed through secure channels.
- Verification information is handled by authorized personnel only.
- Deletion operations are logged and audited internally.
- Data is wiped using industry-standard methods to prevent recovery.
9. Third-Party Data
Please note that some of your data may also be stored by third-party services integrated with ARITHMOS (e.g., Firebase, Facebook, payment providers). While we will delete all data within our direct control, you may need to independently manage data held by third parties through their respective data deletion processes:
- Google/Firebase: Google Privacy Settings
- Facebook: Facebook Data Settings
- Payment Providers: Contact your payment provider directly for transaction data managed on their platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
Fikazon Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from the deletion of your data following a verified request. This includes loss of game progress, Virtual Items, or any perceived value associated with your account. By submitting a deletion request, you acknowledge and accept these consequences.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
12. Governing Law
This Data Deletion Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
